What to expect?
This programme comprises a daily yoga class, Pranayama and for the brave, a cold shower! Inspired by Esther Ekhart's enthusiasm for the Wim Hof method.
Yoga classes: The yoga classes are mostly Hatha and Vinyasa flow and will alternate between a core-focused class and an all-round class to develop strength and flexibility and help keep your yoga practice balanced. The classes will build in intensity and length as the programme progresses.
Pranayama: The daily Pranayama will be the same sequence every day. It will target your core on a deeper level and give you many other benefits. You'll really notice the difference in a short space of time.
Cold shower: Esther invites you to take a daily cold shower (not with her!) during the course of this programme. Cold showers are included in many practices, including Ayurveda, and their therapeutic benefits are manifold.
Who is it for?
If you want to increase your overall strength and stamina from your very core and if you're up for an extra challenge that will promote radiant health and sparkling energy, then this programme is for you! The Pranayama/cold shower is suitable for everyone but not recommended if you are pregnant, menstruating or sick. The yoga classes progress fairly quickly so if you're a beginner, repeat the yoga classes from the first week in week two.
